How To Help Guys Remember Valentine's Day

We all know guys forget the important holidays. Here's a list to help you remind yours about Valentine's Day

  1. Wear only a football jersey to the Super Bowl party.
  2. Spray his pillow with his favorite scent/your perfume. He won't know why, but he will want to remember.
  3. Stage Victoria Secret bags around his house or apartment—in the fridge, on the table, by the remote—places where he frequents, so you’re always on his mind.
  4. Blatantly tell him Valentine’s Day is just a few days away. (The farther in advance you do this the better) When he starts cursing because he forgot to get you something, you can say, don’t worry, you still have time to make reservations and buy a gift. Be clear about your wants because men need guidance.
  5. Text him links to your favorite restaurants.
  6. Leave jewelry store adds in his car. They always have ads for Valentine’s Day engagement rings. (This actually works.)
  7. Wrap his present (or an empty box) in paper with red hearts, and leave it in plain sight. If he can’t figure it out, he’ll ask.
  8. Make the reservation. Men actually appreciate you making the first move.
  9. Make yourself unavailable until the 14th. Men always want something they can’t have. Anticipation builds desire. He’ll remember if he has to think about it.
  10. Send him pictures of the garments from the bags you staged in number 3. Do not wear them in the pictures because he may forget his own name let alone the reason for the pictures. And…yeah, Jennifer Lawrence. You don’t want to find intimate photos of you on the Internet.
